The Dr. Rui Antão Orthopaedics Award already has seven editions and aims to encourage activities that promote the development and notoriety of the specialty of Orthopaedics in the HPA Saúde Group.
Dr. Acácio Ramos and Dr. Diogo Silva Gomes are the winners of the Dr. Rui Antão 2020 Orthopedics Award.
Although special relevance is given to the production and publication of scientific articles in journals with indexing and impact factor, other means or forms can be considered, including communications at scientific meetings, the introduction of new techniques, organization of events, contribution to the improvement of internal organization (certifications, protocols, or other documents), thus allowing any employee to sign up.
This year the reason for the award of the Prize was due to the contribution of relevant scientific publications, with an individual value of €1,500.
So far, the Dr. Rui Antão Orthopedics Award has already distinguished 20 employees (doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, designers, and administrative staff) and has already awarded more than €17,000.00.
